Dr Dan is an experienced paediatric surgeon and urologist. He trained at Oxford University and after completing a fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne in paediatric urology in 2006 fell in love with Australia. After completing my training in the UK and heading the paediatric urology department at Cambridge University Hospital from 2008-2012 I came back to Australia settling in Townsville. I am passionate about providing world class paediatric surgery to families across North Queensland.
At Townsville Paediatric Surgery, we use cutting-edge surgical techniques to provide our patients with the best possible outcomes. Dr Daniel Carroll is trained in the latest procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.
Whilst Dr Carroll offers a very wide range of operations the commonest problems families come to see me are:

• Undescended testes

• Wetting problems
• Constipation and soiling
• Skin lesions or worrying lumps
• Hypospadias surgery
